HK to host Asia Aerospace Expo 2011
The two exhibitions will be staged at the ultra-modern AsiaWorld-Expo complex adjacent to the Hong Kong International Airport, with the first one to be held Sept. 8-10, said Reed Exhibitions, organizer of the events.
Global aerospace leaders including Airbus, Air France / KLM, Engineering, Boeing, Bombardier, CFM International, Goodrich, HAECO, HAESL and Lufthansa Technik are committed to large stands at the main exhibition hall in the 2009 event, with more than 10, 000 people expected to visit the 2009 event, according to Reed Exhibitions.
"The focus of attention for the global economic growth is increasingly turning to dynamic Asian markets, with visionary commercial aviation companies looking beyond the current recession to position themselves for long-term growth in the region," said Paul Beh, president of Reed Exhibitions' Asia and Pacific.
"We are expecting up to 3,000 Chinese visitors at the show to discuss product and service procurement, new international joint ventures and supplier relationships," he said.
Strongly supported by the world's leading aerospace suppliers, Asian Aerospace has been Asia's premier aerospace event for the past 25 years. With its renewed focus on commercial aerospace, the event was relocated to Hong Kong in 2007.
