The C919 will use as much as 15 percent less fuel than current Boeing 737s and Airbus A320s and "surely be cheaper" than comparable Boeing and Airbus models, Chen Jin, the Chinese company's sales head said, according to a Bloomberg report.
The BBC reported that the C919 could have up to 190 seats and would initially aim just for China's domestic market, where airlines will require more than 2,0000 new planes over the next 20 years, according to studies.
